Nine Inch Иails: Broken

Lanzado en 1992, conocido también como Halo 5. El metal y las guitarras violentas se encuentran muy marcadas en este disco, además de la lírica rica en sarcasmos y alusiones a la violencia. Está producido por Trent Reznor y Flood. Es un EP que contiene seis canciones, entre ellas Wish, ganadora de un Grammy en la categoría Metal, y dos canciones extra en las pista 98 y 99 respectivamente. El video de Happiness In Slavery fue censurado universalmente debido a su contenido gráfico porque muestra al artista Bili Kazue amarrándose a sí mismo a una máquina que a continuación le da placer torturándolo y finalmente matándolo. Después de Broken sale el EP de remixes Fixed (Halo 6).
