The Fragile (Halo 14) es un álbum doble lanzado en 1999. Es el cuarto álbum lanzado por la banda. Supone un cambio de sonido, el sonido es menos agresivo y depresivo que The Downard Spiral. Salieron a la venta los singles de The Day the World Went Away (Halo 13) en Estados Unidos, We're In This Together (Halo 15) en Reino Unido, lanzado como un sencillo de tres partes y Into The Void en Japón y Australia. Se hicieron videos de las canciones We're In This Together, Into the Void y Starfuckers Inc. (Esta canción se retituló por Starsuckers inc.) El disco de remixes es Things Falling Apart (Halo 16).
